You are applying for the Full Time Dietary Aide position on 1st Shift with 1-3 Years Experience.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is to provide assistance in the delivery of dietary services. May prepare and/or serve food items, set up tables and trays, serving residents, perform general cleaning tasks, and deliver soiled linen, etc., to laundry.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (list specific job duties)

A. Assures that sanitation and quality standards are met.

B. Neatly arranges tray and/or table setting with proper tableware, condiments, and tray card.

C. Performs various food preparation tasks, and assists in apportioning servings.

D. Prepares and serves beverages per recipe or facility procedure.

E. Cleans beverage dispensers according to manufacturer’s instructions.

F. Performs any cleaning tasks as assigned by Dietary Supervisor

G. Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting

H. Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time


JOB DESCRIPTION
DIETARY AIDE

I. May prepare and/or deliver nourishments/supplements identified with resident name and room number.

J. May maintain or assist in maintaining, dry storage areas by logging temperatures daily and handling the unpacking, dating, and rotating of food and non-food supplies.

K. Maintains tray cards making changes as may be directed or necessary.



QUALIFICATIONS:

? Functional literacy in English is required
? Physical ability to lift/carry equipment, food supplies, etc., as necessary
? Experience in food service is preferred
? Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
