JOB SUMMARY:
The Administrator, assigned to a specific nursing facility, is responsible for all activities of the facility, in keeping with the policies adopted by StoneGate Senior Living, LLC. The Administrator shall function as the key decision maker on a daily basis and, while in this position, must perform duties as assigned and use discretion and proper judgment in delegating assignments to facility staff. This individual must assure and maintain a smooth working relationship with all caregivers providing skilled nursing care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (list specific job duties)
A. Implement and interpret policies, rules and regulations affecting all facility activities and all personnel; establish procedures for systematic performance of facility functions and services; coordinate departmental activities within the facility and work cooperatively with agencies and activities within the local facility.
B. Counsel, monitor and direct department head teams to ensure proper implementation of facility policies and objectives on a regular basis.
C. Recommend policies and procedures to the StoneGate Corporate Staff which will allow the maintenance of the facility on a sound financial structure, including evaluation of and recommendation for the establishment of fee schedules; providing for careful economic and safe administration of funds. Maintain accurate records of facility finances and supervision of disbursement and accounting for all funds.

D. Implement sound personnel policies, and assure compliance. The Administrator or another appropriately designated representative shall select, employ, supervise and discharge all facility employees.
E. Lead annually the total Quality Assurance Process including Resident / Employee satisfaction surveys, one-on-one interviews and the actual review process, with a team- building emphasis. Participate in the development of goal setting plans and recommendations regarding the future operations of the facility.
F. Assist StoneGate in the preparation and monitoring of an approved annual capital and operating budget for the facility.
G. Supervise the acquisition of equipment and facilities consistent with the goals and changing needs of the facility.
H. Prepare or cause to have prepared periodic financial and other required operating reports for the StoneGate Corporate Management.
I. Actively participate in the Resident’s pre-admission, New Resident Orientation, Department Head meetings, Staff relations meetings, and Resident Council meetings.
J. Supervise and operate a program of maintenance and protection for all physical assets of the facility.
K. Devise and implement policies and procedures that will ensure the safety and protection of all residents.
L. Constantly build relationships in the local community that will assure that our marketing efforts will be continually enhanced. Attend those gatherings and assemblies that are in the best interest of the facility.
M. Actively participate in professional organizations to remain current on the state of long-term care and skilled nursing home administration.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must display a genuine interest in geriatric care, and compassion for the aging; must possess an openness in maintaining a multi-disciplined team approach to health care of the elderly; must possess the ability to maintain/strengthen good working relationships with staff, residents, families and other health care providers; must possess good skills in planning, organizing, directing and managing; must possess a good sense of efficiency and delegation of work assignments; must be knowledgeable and supportive of the community’s philosophy and objectives; must be flexible and open to change; must be knowledgeable of current regulatory standards for Skilled Nursing communities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
? Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a college degree is preferred.
? Must have Nursing Home Administrators License
? 2-5 years experience in managing a skilled nursing or assisted living facility
? Concise and accurate verbal and written communication skills
? Capable of making mature, professional judgments
? Ability to resolve conflicts in a fair, legal and effective manner
? Multi-task oriented
